Lisa P. Buono, Vice President of Marketing Lisa brings 30 years of experience in Human Resources, Personnel, Claims, and Benefit Administration to our organization. Lisa's career began in the claims division at Connecticut General. Her responsibilities included claim review and payment within the governmental guidelines of the federally funded Medicare program. Her next career advancement brought her to the claims division of ConnectiCare, Inc. Utilizing her claims background, she established and managed a Coordination Of Benefits Department within the framework of the claims division. In 1985 Lisa transitioned to the private business sector focusing her career efforts in Human Resources and Benefit Administration. Over the next 17 years Lisa fine-tuned her skills working for Roncari Industries, Inc., Viking Aluminum Products, Inc., and Carter Wallace, Inc. In these positions she was exposed to all facets of Human Resources functions including all aspects of company benefits. Lisa also researched and implemented all new benefit plan designs and orchestrated the open enrollments. She has an extensive background in writing and administering personnel policies and procedures as well as developing online employee handbooks. As Vice President of Marketing, Lisa is responsible for all prospective marketing functions including new business growth and development, promotional marketing materials, and new client and vendor relations. Lisa provides clients with a complete analysis (all product lines) of their in-force/suggested benefit plans. After initial analysis, cost effective alternatives are recommended based on the client's short term and long term benefit strategies. Lisa's extensive background has enabled her to anticipate client needs and read beyond the obvious challenges confronting employer management teams. Her insight often results in attaining the proper balance of efficiency, quality, flexibility and choice for all plan participants. |
