Edward J. Rapacky III; Manager, Group Sales & Marketing

Ed joined Benefit Resource Group in the summer of 1998 having been previously employed in the accounting field. Ed completed an internship with William J. Shea & Associates, an accounting firm located in Bristol, CT. Ed's strong background in accounting and finance has enabled him to successfully manage BRG's small group marketing division. His responsibilities include the marketing and service functions for small and middle market group programs.

He is also responsible for market research projects relating to small and large group products, including medical, dental, life, and disability plans. Ed effectively provides our clients with timely market reviews identifying vendors providing the best balance between cost, coverage, and provider access. These reviews include user-friendly Excel spreadsheets comparing all viable coverage alternatives. Our clients, armed with these important management tools, are able to select the best possible benefit packages for their employees.

Ed graduated from Central Connecticut State University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He also has his State of Connecticut Life and Health Licenses and is currently enrolled in the CEBS degree program. 

His community contributions include being the Defensive Coordinator for the Bristol Central High School Rams football squad. Ed has served a term on the Town of Plainville Town Council, having been elected in November of 2003.
